This is an extra piece on 'Growth in Sport'. It has information on the 3 sports I have chosen, about the 4 area's we are looking into. Provision, Participation, Spectatorship and Media Coverage.

ReplyDeleteGood use of 'from ... to...' statistics for spectatorship and good start on offering an opinion on why this is the case... see if you can offer any more e.g. do people have higher average incomes now more so than 93/94 so can afford to go to the football more often? Are ticket prices relatively cheaper?
For participation, "grassroots are now at over 1.5million players" - what was the original figure? Good reference to role models. Would you expect football to be growing rapidly or stabilising as it is?

ReplyDeleteYou are extremely close to that distinction you are striving for. To gain it you need to look at some of your reasons for growth in your football article. Also take a look at my blog on AO5 to make sure all parts of the marking criteria have been covered. I beleive you may have overlooked a few of the potential reasons for growth.
